Zagrebačka banka and the Croatian Bank for Reconstruction and Development (HBOR) concluded the Financing Agreement for the Implementation of Financial Instrument "ESIF Growth and Expansion Loans" from the European Structural and Investment Funds. This financial instrument provides funding for small and medium-sized enterprises under favourable conditions.
The financial instrument ESIF Growth and Expansion Loans refers to long-term investment loans, 50% of which are approved from the European Structural and Investment Funds (ESIF) and 50% from the sources of Zagrebačka banka d.d.
ESIF Growth and Expansion Loans are exclusively approved by Zagrebačka banka, and HBOR's approval is not required.
As part of the financial instrument, final beneficiaries will receive regional aid and/or de minimis aid.
ESIF Loans for Growth and Expansion may only be used to finance:
- initialinvestments in tangible and intangible assets, as well as working capital related to that investment
- investments which will lead to business growth and expansion, and the creation of new jobs.
