You own a sole proprietorship or a company and want to improve your business operations? Join the Digitalna Hrvatska program and discover the advantages of digital, i.e. card payments. A POS terminal will be provided to you, with no inactivity or low activity fees for a period of 6 months.
Zagrebačka banka has joined the Digitalna Hrvatska initiative in order to provide support to Croatian sole proprietorships and companies in the process of recovering from the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The purpose of the initiative is to help the clients that have not offered card payments as a payment option so far complete the digitalization process and upgrade their business operations. All new clients that have not accepted card payments for transactions in Croatia in the past 12 months are eligible to join the program.
The program brings numerous benefits - an increase in sales and customer onboarding, efficiency and safety of service, and further development of your sole proprietorship or company.
Other program advantages include:
- free POS terminal installation by our technicians and sales staff training on how to use it,
- a Help Desk available 24 hours a days on 01 3789 666,
- arranging card acceptance through a POS or online payment system (e-commerce) without opening a transaction account with the Bank.

All companies and sole proprietorships in Croatia that have not accepted card payments via POS terminals or e-commerce acceptance channels in the past 12 months are eligible to join the program.
Yes, during the first 6 months from the date of signing the card acceptance agreement, no fees will be charged for inactive or low-activity POS terminals. Only the standard card acceptance fee per transaction will be charged.
