Foreign currency payments can be effected only by non-cash payment from a non-resident account (foreign legal or natural persons) in the Republic of Croatia or from a non-resident account (foreign legal or natural persons) abroad.
Following the foundation, the share capital paid in a foreign currency can be transferred to a foreign currency transaction account.
Transfer of the share capital funds to transaction accounts in ZABA requires only a request for transfer in a free format signed by the representative of the newly established legal person. For a transfer to a transaction account opened with another bank in the Republic of Croatia, in addition to the Request, a copy of the Decision on entry in the competent Registry (Commercial Court/Registry of Associations…) and a copy of the signature form from the Bank with which the transaction account is opened are also required.
When submitting a request for the transfer of the share capital funds you should also submit the document indicating the change, e.g. a notarial act with the change of the name, a refusal of entry in a Registry, etc.
Reimbursement of the share capital funds is carried out only if it is not also effected on the basis of a written request of the investor or his authorised person with an attached power of attorney and mandatory other documents:
