Loans With Interest Subsidy Under The NRRP Funds

Croatian Bank for Reconstruction and Development (HBOR), from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP), has allocated funds for subsidized interests for loans to micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) and mid-cap and large entities.

Interest rate subsidy is implemented within following HBOR programs:

  • Private sector investment,
  • Youth, Women and Start-Up entrepreneurs, and Other Special Segments Entrepreneurship and
  • EU projects

In addition, there is a possibility of subsidizing interest rate under NRRP for mid-cap and large business entities for which the NRRP guarantee has been approved.

Following investments are eligible:

  • Investments in green and/or digital transition,
  • Investments in specific areas of the Republic of Croatia and/or RDI (research, development and innovation),
  • Other investments in competitiveness and resilience.

All investments under this Financial Instrument must be aligned with the principle "do no significant harm" ("Do No Significant Harm").

The financial instrument will be implemented until the available funds have been disbursed in full, and no later than until 30 June 2026.
