Opening of an account

Terms

A transaction account can be opened by any business entity (legal persons and natural persons performing an economic activity or a freelancing activity).

Opening of a transaction account requires submission of the prescribed status documents and filling out of the Banks  forms (please contact our enterprenurial centres).  

Required documents

The original documents or a photocopy certified by a notary public should be submitted. The original or notarized copy may not be older than 3 months.
                                
LEGAL ENTITIES - COMPANIES (d.o.o., j.d.o.o.) / ASSOCIATIONS / SOLE TRADERS

• court register certificate, or the competent entity registration if registration in a register is stipulated by law, or
• an act of incorporation from a competent body if the business entity is not registered in a court register and is not established by law, or
• transcript from the relevant law or another piece of legislation if the business entity was established by law or another piece of legislation

• notification of classification as per the National Classification of Economic Activities from the Central Bureau of Statistics
• OIB certificate if OIB is not specified in registration documents
• OIB certificate and photocopies of identification documents of authorized persons representing the client
  

SOLE PROPRIETORS

• decision on registration in the trade register

• trade licence or privilege certificate
• OIB certificate and photocopy of identification document of the sole proprietorship owner
• notorized partnership agreement (in the case of joint proprietorship)
  

FREELANCERS

• decision on registration in the competent body's register of activities
• OIB certificate and a photocopy of identification document of the Account holder
  

FARMERS

• decision on registration in the Farm registry
• certificate on the award of the farmer's registration number
• OIB certificate and a photocopy of identification document of the Account holder
