ZB plus is a euro-denominated fund, investing primarily into commercial bank deposits, money market instruments (treasury bills, commercial bills) and the short-term securities of top-tier issuers.
The Fund’s assets value growth is slow, but steady, generally without fluctuations in unit value. It is mostly used for short-term placement of surplus funds, i.e., as an "extended" current or giro account (cash management, cash parking).

Units in ZB Invest funds are available for purchase at any branch of Zagrebačka banka or via online banking (e-zaba and m-zaba) using the free-of-charge ZABA Link service. ZABA Link may be arranged at any branch of Zagrebačka banka. Further information about this service is available at the ZABA Link website.
Of course. A parent (legal representative) may invest in funds on behalf of their minor child by arranging the free service, ZABA Link, in his or her name.
Activation
ZABA Link is a free service with which the Bank enables its clients, natural persons and businesses, to effect quicker, simpler and safer ZB Invest transactions. After arranging this service, clients may effect transactions simply and quickly through online banking (e-zaba, m-zaba), or check their balance and unit transactions. There are also many other benefits. Arrange the ZABA Link service in the nearest Bank branch and manage your investments even faster and easier.
Use
If you have arranged ZABA Link, the Bank's free service, you can check your unit balance in any Bank branch or using online banking (e-zaba, m-zaba). To clients who arrange electronic delivery of reports (by email), ZB Invest offers additional reporting email alert. Email alarms may be used to monitor the value of your investments in the funds managed by ZB Invest, and also to receive notifications on unit price changes (unit price increase or decrease) and unit balance. Alarms are sent by email when conditions are met, i.e. the defined percentage growth or drop of unit price.
At any time. When investing in a fund, the investment period is not defined, so the funds may be withdrawn from the fund at any time. When purchasing (selling) units, depending on your needs, you may request the sale of all of your units or define the amount of funds to be paid out. Unit purchase can be simple and quick if you use the free service ZABA Link.
The investor will receive the amount of sold Fund units no later than seven work days from the receipt of a valid request for sale in cash funds (usually the next work day).

Historically speaking, investments in stock on financial markets have been treated as a means of protection against the negative effects of inflation. If you hide your money under your mattress, it doesn't work for you and you'll never have more than the amount you have hidden away. Money you invest generates more money because of interest and dividends, or due to positive changes in the price of stocks, bonds or fund units. You can start with relatively small (monthly) amounts. It's never too early for investments.
The safety of an investment depends on the investment strategy of a particular fund. For example, a fund investing in deposits and short-term bonds is characterised by low fluctuations in price and low investment risk, unlike equity funds, which have higher fluctuations in unit price, the possibility of achieving higher yield, but also the possibility of larger price drops.
Depending on the fund strategy, i.e., price trend for the securities into which a specific fund invests, negative yields are possible as well, however, loss of principal is almost impossible given the diversification of investments in the fund (the fund invests into various types of assets, various currencies, economic sectors).
