Zagrebačka banka increased contactless payment limit without PIN authentication to HRK 250

Health and safety of its employees and clients are Zagrebačka banka’s top priority. In line with the current situation and measures adopted by the competent bodies, Zagrebačka banka continues to take additional measures to protect its clients, while also providing banking services without hindrance.

On 27 March, the Bank increased contactless payment limit without PIN authentication from HRK 100 to HRK 250 in accordance with the recommendations of the competent bodies to reduce movement and contact. The increase of contactless payment limit without PIN authentication will be gradually implemented in the following days at all points of sale which have POS devices of Zagrebačka banka.

Additionally, on 24 March, Zagrebačka banka cancelled the fee for individuals for debit card cash withdrawal at ATMs of all banks in Croatia for a period of three months to further facilitate clients’ access to cash.

Most Zagrebačka banka ATMs can be used contactlessly. Our clients do not have to insert their card. It is sufficient to place it above the contactless sign on the ATM. Zaba ATMs are available 24 hours a day, at more than 800 locations in Croatia. ATM locations are listed on the official Zagrebačka banka website.

Since 20 March, Zagrebačka banka branches have shortened their working hours, and some branches are temporarily closed. You can find the list of branches and their working hours on the Bank’s website.

We advise our clients to visit branches only when absolutely required and in accordance with precautionary measures.
