Zagrebačka banka has launched Social Impact Banking, UniCredit’s initiative whose goal is to identify, encourage and finance projects and entrepreneurs who have the potential to have a positive social impact.
With these carefully planned activities, Zagrebačka banka is making another step in the field of social responsibility in three main areas:
Microloans are used to finance micro and small enterprises, regardless of their organisation, with up to 10 employees, whose revenue and assets do not exceed 2 million euro. Special attention is given to start-up entrepreneurs, projects that generate jobs, female entrepreneurship, innovators and entrepreneurs in less developed areas.
We finance projects which, in addition to a positive financial result, also have a measurable positive social impact. These are areas related to health protection, social care, education, social housing, social tourism and agriculture, but they also cover any other sector-independent project aimed at hiring people who are usually less employable or even excluded from the labour market.
Organisation of free financial literacy trainings for citizens and entrepreneurs.
