After you open the basic account, you will receive a letter containing your debit card at your home address, and within several days you will also receive your PIN. To use your card, you need to activate it. The letter will contain the activation instructions.
Basic account
A current account in EUR is opened for the purpose of transactions in accordance with the Act on the Comparability of Fees Related to Payment Accounts, Payment Account Switching and Access to Basic Accounts.
The Bank issues a debit card to account users with legal capacity, proxies and guardians for the disposal of funds in an account.
Contracted overdraft or limits for instalment payment with a debit card are not approved for a basic account.
In addition, if the consumer belongs to a sensitive consumer group in terms of the Act, they must provide relevant proof of their status when opening the account.

For disposal of funds in the account, the Bank issues a debit card to account users with legal capacity, proxies and guardians which allows them to use the funds in the account in Bank branches, at ATMs, or other payment locations and stores in the Republic of Croatia and abroad, as well as in online shops.
The user may dispose of funds via on-line banking, standing orders or direct debit, if such services are arranged.
