Travel insurance packages can be arranged by:
all citizens of the Republic of Croatia, and
foreigners with a temporary or a permanent stay permit in accordance with the Croatian Foreigners Act, or foreign tourists in the Republic of Croatia

Travel insurance premium depends on the duration of your trip. It is paid in full before the trip.

Activation
The insurer's liability begins at 00:00 of the day listed on the policy as the date of the beginning of insurance, if the insurance premium has been fully paid, and it ends at 24:00 of the day listed on the policy as the insurance expiry date.

You can arrange a travel insurance package that includes everything you need while travelling:

private liability insurance

International travel insurance – arranged when travelling abroad, and it can be arranged in the period from 1 to 365 days. Insurance for travel in the country – arranged when travelling in the Republic of Croatia, and it can be arranged in the period from 1 to 30 days. Annual individual travel insurance – a special programme of international travel insurance. The insurance is arranged only for a year (365 days), but a particular travel of a policyholder cannot be longer than 28 days.
To get quick and quality healthcare in emergencies, call the emergency hotline available 24/7. You can speak to the personnel in the Croatian language. Tell the hotline operators your name and surname, age, insurance policy number, city and country where you are located and the phone number you are calling from. The hotline personnel will contact the coordinator of the area where you are located and, in an optimal period, arrange the required level of health care.

European Health Insurance Card:
covers only emergency interventions, only in public health care facilities in the member states of the EU
Croatian citizens do not have to cover the co-payment costs in case when they would not have to be covered by citizens of that country
Travel health insurance policy:
covers all costs of medical treatments, medicine and medical aids for Croatian citizens abroad regardless of the rules and co-payment costs of the health care system of the country providing the service
covers repatriation costs of the policyholder and other services in accordance with the terms of insurance up to the arranged insurance amount, which are not the scope of insurance ensured by the European Health Insurance Card
provides assistance in finding the nearest physician or a health care facility, both private and public
helps overcome language barriers
informs the policyholder's family of his/her health status
gives instructions on what to do in case your documents, credit cards or travel ticket are stolen
in case of unforeseeable events, our assistance will send messages to the local Croatian embassy, pass on messages to your family or company, change hotel, airline or car rental reservations, as well as meeting arrangements according to your instructions
