A multi-currency transaction account shall only be debited in EUR, irrespective of the payment/withdrawal currency and on the currency in the account.
The giro account in euro shall only be debited in euro.

A non-activated card is delivered to your address and can be used after its activation, as described in the accompanying letter.
The activation differs depending on the card type and the reason for issuing the new card. Therefore, it can be activated in different ways:

IMPORTANT: To activate the contactless function, first you have to make at least one conventional transaction by inserting the card into an ATM (it is sufficient to check the account balance) or in a POS device at a point of sale.
To receive a new PIN for your debit or credit card, visit the nearest branch or e-branch. You can check your card PIN any time in our mobile app (m-zaba) if you have arranged online banking.

For transactions made using a debit card in Croatia or abroad your multi-currency account will be debited exclusively in EUR, regardless of the currency you have paid in or currencies on your account. If there are not enough funds or there are not enough funds in EUR, the account will be debited in other available currencies (considering the currency numeric code in the Bank´s exchange rate). The conversion of these currencies will be conducted in EUR using the exchange rate list for card transactions. The buying and selling rate of the currency on the day for debiting an account will be applied without additional charges for the conversion.
Upon receiving an account statement or notification of incurred costs, depending on the card type, please check the accuracy and completeness of the information on transactions immediately. A complaint needs to be filed to the Bank in writing right away, and no later than 13 months from the day the account is debited or the date of the notification of incurred costs, depending on the card type. The card user is obliged to report a lost or stolen card immediately. He can do it 24/7 with the Bank stand-by service via tel. 01 3789 789 and confirm the report in writing in the nearest Bank branch. It is also possible to report a lost/stolen card in the branch.
