A non-activated card is delivered to your address and can be used after its activation, as described in the accompanying letter.
The activation differs depending on the card type and the reason for issuing the new card. Therefore, it can be activated in different ways:

• online banking (e-zaba and m-zaba)
• by using the automated answering service
• in a branch of Zagrebačka banka.

If you activate your card before 11 a.m., it will be ready for use after 11:30 a.m. If you activate your card between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m., you will be able to use it after 6:30 p.m.

IMPORTANT: To activate the contactless function, first you have to make at least one conventional transaction by inserting the card into an ATM (it is sufficient to check the account balance) or in a POS device at a point of sale.

A revolving credit is a framework credit amount set by the Bank up to which the primary and supplementary users may use the card for the payment of goods and services and for cash withdrawal. The revolving credit is decreased by the amount of each cost incurred by the card, including the cost incurred by the card for instalment payments and by the amount of fees.

In repayment according to the number of instalments, the amount specified on the specific notification of incurred costs is divided by the agreed number of instalments and each month one instalment referred to in each notification of incurred costs becomes due.

From 31 March 2022 you will not be able to arrange a revolving credit card with repayment in the percentage amount.

Existing users of a revolving card who have chosen to repay a used revolving loan in a percentage will continue using this according to the agreement, as they have done so far. In the percentage repayment of costs, the arranged percentage amount is charged once a month on the due date.

Calculation of the monthly repayment of the principal:
1 If the repayment amount equals or exceeds EUR 12.61
The overall amount of the used revolving loan is multiplied by the arranged percentage. Interest and fees are subtracted from the amount calculated in that way, and the rest is monthly repayment.
2 If the repayment amount is less than EUR 12.61
The overall amount of the used revolving loan is multiplied by the arranged percentage, and it amounts to at least EUR 12.61 .

To receive a new PIN for your debit or credit card, visit the nearest branch or e-branch. You can check your card PIN any time in our mobile app (m-zaba) if you have arranged online banking.

The revolving credit interest is paid on the utilised amount of revolving credit, and it is not accrued if you pay the total debt by the due date. The interest is accrued and charged on a monthly basis. The Bank informs you to that effect in a Notification of the costs incurred.

The card user is obliged to report a lost or stolen card immediately. He can do it 24/7 with the Bank stand-by service via tel.  01 3789 789 and confirm the report in writing in the nearest Bank branch. It is also possible to report a lost/stolen card in the branch.

Please adhere to the following pieces of advice:

• Remember the PIN and never write it down on the card or other documents
• Sign the card immediately upon receipt
• Destroy the old card (it will suffice to cut it through the magnetic stripe) after the expiration date
• Do not communicate the PIN or card data EVER to ANYONE
• Do not leave the card in visible places (in the car, in a cloakroom, in a hotel room, restaurant, etc.)
• Make sure to check the transaction amount prior to payment
• After the payment, verify that the card returned to you is really yours
• Keep our address and telephone number handy to be able to quickly report a lost or stolen card.

In accordance with the personal data protection policy regarding card users, personal data are not stored on the chip, and neither can they be transferred on the terminal upon payment. Cards do not enable the salesperson to access the data on the user's transactions.

As soon as you notice that your card has disappeared, report this immediately to the Bank so that all the necessary measures for preventing misuse could be undertaken in a timely manner. After reporting the disappearance of the card, you are free from any responsibility and protected from financial loss in case of any misuse.
