Purchasing with deferred payment at more than 36 million points of sale world-wide, online and withdrawing cash at more than 2 million ATMs and withdrawal locations abroad.
With the Standard Mastercard credit card you can:
pay in instalments without interest or other charges at specially marked locations in Croatia
contactless card or mobile payments using m-wallet are a part of our online banking (m-zaba)
withdraw cash at points of sale of Konzum, Tisak and in Tisak media centres, with a fee
Possibility of withdrawing cash up to HRK 2,000 per day, within the available spending limit
Conditions
A natural person (existing and new client), resident, who meets the requirements of creditworthiness set by the Bank (optional co-borrowing).
The applicant should open a HRK and a foreign currency account in the Bank - the card automatically charges current account for costs made in HRK and foreign currency account in the EUR currency for costs made in foreign currency (the available amount in the account must be sufficient to cover newly incurred costs, and in case there are no funds in the foreign currency account, costs are charged to the current account).

Do I need to open a current account with Zagrebačka banka in order to conclude a Standard Mastercard credit card agreement?
Yes, in order to obtain it, you need to open an account in HRK and a foreign currency transaction account.
Can I arrange a direct debit for settling due costs of my Gold Mastercard credit card?
No, it is not necessary to arrange a direct debit because all costs are automatically charged against the account in HRK or a foreign currency account on the chosen day of payment.
Activation
Can I use my card immediately upon receipt?
The card is delivered to your address non-activated and may be used after activation in the way described in the letter accompanying the card. The activation differs depending on the card type and the reason for issuing the new card. Therefore, the activation will be possible using particular channels:
on-line banking (e-zaba and m-zaba)
IVR
by visiting a branch of Zagrebačka banka.
If you activate your card before 11 a.m., it will be ready for use after 11:30 a.m. If you activate your card between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m., you will be able to use it after 6:30 p.m.

What is a charge card?
Individualna Mastercard is a card with charge functionality that enables the card user to purchase and to withdraw cash up to the agreed limit. The card user settles the spent amount in full after the expiry of the accounting period by the agreed date, free of interest for the deferred payment.
Can I change the payment date?
Yes, the chosen method of payment can be changed subsequently. The due date for Individual Standard, Student, Gold or Platinum Mastercard credit card can be changed:
over the phone – call 01 3789 620 and request the change from the banker
by visiting a branch
by using e-Branch.
The change for go!card Mastercard and Visa credit cards can be requested in a branch or using e-Branch. The due date change will be implemented for the next calculation period.
May I pay in instalments free of interest or any charges with my Standard Mastercard credit card?
Yes, with the Standard Mastercard credit card it is possible to pay in instalments, i.e. repayment of up to 36 instalments is possible, at selected points of sale in Croatia.
I forgot my card PIN. How can I request a new PIN?
To receive a new PIN for your card (Maestro, Visa Electron, Mastercard or Visa), visit the nearest branch or e-branch. You can check your card PIN any time in our mobile app (m-zaba) if you have arranged online banking.
What do I need to do to have my surname on the card changed?
Kindly visit a branch. Please also bring a document confirming the change and your ID card.
The card user is obliged to report a lost or stolen card immediately. He can do it 24/7 with the Bank stand-by service via tel. 01 3789 789 and confirm the report in writing in the nearest Bank branch. It is also possible to report a lost/stolen card in the branch.
How can I reduce or avoid the risk of misuse of my card?
Please adhere to the following pieces of advice:
Remember the PIN and never write it down on the card or other documents
Sign the card immediately upon receipt
Destroy the old card (it will suffice to cut it through the magnetic stripe) after the expiration date
Do not communicate the PIN or card data EVER to ANYONE
Do not leave the card in visible places (in the car, in the cloakroom, in the hotel room, the restaurant etc.).
Make sure to check the transaction amount prior to authenticating the transaction by signature or PIN
After the payment, verify that the card returned to you is really yours
Keep our address and telephone number handy to be able to quickly report a lost or stolen card.
Which personal data are stored on the contactless payment chip and may a salesperson reach the data about my transaction?
In accordance with the personal data protection policy regarding card users, personal data are not stored on the chip, and neither can they be transferred on the terminal upon payment. Cards do not enable the salesperson to access the data on the user's transactions.
Can a lost contactless card be misused?
As soon as you notice that your card has disappeared, report this immediately to the Bank so that all the necessary measures for preventing misuse could be undertaken in a timely manner. After reporting the disappearance of the card, you are free from any responsibility and protected from financial loss in case of any misuse.
